MANUSCRIPT CHECKLIST

 

the following tables, sorted in 3 formats by corresponding author, by paper number, and by session, list the manuscripts that have been received by the ICT 02 committee for inclusion in the ICT 02 Proceedings.  If you have submitted a paper but do not see a "Y" in the 'manuscript submitted' column, please contact the ICT program Chair at abstract-ict2002@its.org.

 

MANUSCRIPT INSTRUCTIONS

 

The 21st International Conference on Thermoelectrics Conference Proceedings will be published by the IEEE, and therefore must conform to the standards set by the IEEE.

 

To ensure compliance with the Required Manuscript Format, authors are strongly urged to use the MSWord manuscript template ICT02Template.DOC. The content of the file is also available in .PDF format.

 

Please limit your manuscript to 4 pages for contributed papers and 6 pages for invited papers. 

 

Authors will be asked to complete on-line Manuscript Identification Form to ensure an accurate table of contents and cross-listing of authors and co-authors in the proceedings.

 

Two copies of the manuscript are to be submitted at the beginning of the conference for technical review.

 

A signed Copyright Transfer Form (available in *.pdf) will also be required when the manuscripts are submitted at the conference.

 

 

TECHNICAL REVIEW

 

All papers submitted for the Conference Proceedings will be refereed for technical content according to the following criteria.

 

Scientific Qualities


Relevance to the Conference

Do the contents of the manuscript fall within the scope of the symposium?


Timeliness of Research
Does the manuscript contain original work that has not been published elsewhere?

Scientific Impact
Does the work contribute to the advancement of the field (even incrementally)?

Mechanics of Manuscript


Match between Title, Abstract, Data and Conclusions

Are the various components of the manuscript consistent in content?

Readability of English (including punctuation and grammar)

Is the manuscript easily readable by someone with a reasonable comprehension of technical English?

 

Compliance with the Required Manuscript Format
Does the manuscript comply with the guidelines for preparing camera-ready papers for this proceeding?

 

Session Chairs will choose referee(s) for each paper in their session.  Authors will have the opportunity to modify their manuscript(s) at their home institution if necessary. The final decision regarding acceptance for publication will be made by the conference chair and technical program chair.  A final, camera ready manuscript must be received by September 15, 2002 to ensure publication in the proceedings.
